On Wednesday, November 22, I was honoured to host the PRoSPeReS final conference!!! This meeting gathered many outstanding security experts, police commanders, firefighters, rectors, and representatives of religious communities: Christians, Jews and Muslims.
I also hosted the 3rd panel: PRoSPeReS project - results and general recommendations. 17 consortium partners from 6 EU countries worked together to strengthen the resilience of religious communities, churches, synagogues, mosques and other places of worship, as well as large religious gatherings to terrorist threats (and violent extremism). We focused on the armed attackers - lone actors, vehicle ramming, the use of various improvised explosive devices and CBRN agents, including means of transport, dispersion, etc. We have developed a complete countermeasure system, enriched with valuable courses improving competencies, including the use of VR technology - more at: www.prosperes.eu
Thanks to the moderators of panels 1 and 2 for the highest professionalism: Vivian Gravenberch and KONSTANTINOS APOSTOLOU.
From the perspective of a key expert on the project, I'd like to thank you all very much, dear friends, for your excellent and efficient cooperation. I'm grateful to you! Special thanks to the coordinator Marcin Podogrocki and the University of Lodz, leader of the PRoSPeReS consortium 💪 💪 💪 ✌
